Five Arizona JOADs
competed with many other JOADs from around the country in the 2004
Arizona Cup International.
It was a great
experience for JOADs to compete with senior world champions and
Olympians.
The Thursday and
Friday 70-meter qualifying event was very trying for the junior
archers.
On Thursday the
wind swirled and blew strongly making for low scores across the
board.
On Friday, a
severe rainstorm caused the day's shooting to be cancelled after the
first end.
Saturdays Olympic
Rounds featured mostly beautiful weather. Compounds competed
in the morning and recurve divisions in the afternoon.
All five Arizona
JOADs competed in the Olympic round.

competition.
