Twelve Mesa Targeteers JOADs were joined by six
adults to fill the Archery HQ range to capacity for the 2004
Leftover Turkey Shoot, Vegas style tournament.
Rockne Repp and family ran the tournament and Mickey
Richard, Mesa Targeteers head coach, supported the kids as needed.
Thanks goes out to Archery HQ and George for opening the range on a
Sunday.
The event was the “first” tournament for many and
provided valuable tournament experience in preparation for the 2005
World Archery Festival, Las Vegas and the 2005 AZ JOAD Team – Vegas
Shootout.

The funds raised now make the Mesa Targeteers the
primary donor for the 2005 AZJOAD Team – Vegas Shootout, trophy
fund.
Award certificates are to be distributed once the
results are final.
Note: The event was Rockne Repp’s first tournament
as event organizer. Thank him and his family when you see them for
providing the tournament experience opportunity. Feel free to ask
Rockne or myself to find out about hosting an event yourself.
Hosting a tournament is very rewarding.
Serious Fun…
