adam Wheatcroft Memorial Benefit
Indoor 600 Dec. 7, 2003 Archery Headquarters Chandler, Arizona The Adam Wheatcroft Memorial Benefit Indoor 600 was held in his
honor. Fourteen AZJOAD and friends of
JOAD competed at Archery Headquarters in Chandler, Arizona. JOADs, Seniors and Masters all gained
valuable experience at this event that raised two hundred dollars for the
James Madison University archery program.
This donation is being made per the wishes of the Adam Wheatcroft
family to support JMU’s archery program and to recognize Adams’ achievements
in target archery. The event was a great opportunity for three barebow enthusiasts
to compete in the 4th World Internet Indoor Archery Championship
for Barebow. Stats: Set up began at 7:30 AM Two lines were shot on the range’s 8 lanes. Practice began just before 8:00 AM Shooting for score began at 8:30 AM First 300 was finished at 9: 45 AM Second 300 began at 10:00 AM and ended at 11: 20 AM All competed in a one arrow shoot off elimination round
immediately following scoring. ·
Brandon Hunt won the bragging rights. The equipment was taken down and all were gone by 12 noon. A special thanks is extended to Colt, Dennis, and Randy for
opening Archery Headquarters on a normally closed Sunday morning for this
