indoor tourney? Only open date is March 1. Still Interested? Email azjoad@cox.net We are trying to organize several one-day
outdoor FITA qualifiers for the upcoming spring / summer season. A qualifier must have a minimum of three
NAA members shooting to make it “official”.
So….if we pay for and register some dates we need some commitment that
we will at least have the “minimum” show up. We need about 35 days prior to the date to mail in fees and
register prior to the event. These
qualifiers will not be STAR events. We will also need some minor help with target
set-up and take-down. Consider it “sweat
equity”. Although the later in the
season… the more sweat! So I have listed some potential dates below. Nothing is fixed yet. We need input from you. Possible venues could be BASF, Papago
Park, or PSE Tucson or Payson. Please let the ASAA and AZJOAD know if you are
interested and the desired dates. I
noted the already scheduled NAA tournaments / conflicts that I know about. Let us know if you need to do the “Fitness Test”,
we can make arrangements. Do not wait
until you are at a major tournament. See the Nock Nock Nov/Dec 2002 edition for NAA
Qualifying Score Requirements for different Events. Some of these dates could accommodate 70 meter
round robin matches or Olympic Elimination Rounds. Tell us what you want to work on. Date,
