Arizona JOADs distinguished themselves on the 2004 US Junior World Championship Cadet Compound Team.

  • As part of the US team, Margaret Hargett, Payson, and Robyn Repp, Scottsdale, set a world record for Cadet Female Compound Team 3x144 FITA of 4062. (60,50,40 and 30 meters).

  • Brady Ellison, Glendale, was part of the US Team that set a 27-arrow match of 254 and a 2x27-arrow match of 507 (60 meters) for two world records.

  • Robyn Repp set an individual FITA distance world record with a score of 350 at 40 meters.

  • Robyn also set a 18-arrow Olympic elimination round world record with a score of 169 (60 meters).

This is truly a remarkable set of accomplishments on an international level.

The 2004 Jr World Championship was the first competition overseas for all six of the Arizona JOADs on the 2004 US Jr team.

The archers and their families are to be congratulated for the effort and dedication needed for such great achievements.
