NASCAR / KMLE 108 event at Archery HQ (6401 W. Chandler Boulevard, Chandler, AZ) went off without a hitch.

  • The KMLE crew hung out at Archery HQ with #21 Matthews NASCAR racecar and driver Tim Schendel.

  • The NASCAR #21 team gave out printed Tee shirts and signed autographs for all.

  • Tim had one of his cars on display and the teams semi tractor trailer was open for viewing too.

  • KMLE set up a tent and gave away Taco bell food and coupon giveaways.

  • The KMLE folks and the NASCAR team were very friendly.

The Arizona JOAD community made the AZJOAD genesis bows and arrows available for all to try for free.

A few kids shot for quite some time.

It was great to see the smiles on the youths faces as they got the hang of it.

Parents were able to garnish valuable information too.

The volunteers were able to shoot a few ends for fun also.

Over ten JOAD volunteers came out and helped, here is a listing:

  • Ted Harden 2

  • John Howland

  • Brandon Hunt

  • Waylon Hunt and family

  • Bob Pian

  • Lindsay Pian

  • Paula Simpson

  • Cassandra Votruba

  • Ed Votruba

  • Troy Turner

Special thanks to Doug Witt and Ted Harden for getting things set up and going.

Everyone was please to be able to help out and insure that things went smoothly.

AZJOAD is very proud of the support given to Archery Headquarters!
