2007 USAT Teams Announced

Aug. 10, 2006

NAA Press Release

Arizona's Becky Pearson earned a position on Senior USAT in the Compound division.

Maggie Huff and Brady Ellison both earned their way on to JR USAT by taking part and performing at the top at the Indoor Nationals, JOAD Nationals and National Target Championship/Jr World Team Trials in the Olympic Bow division.

  • Huff and Ellison were both member of the 2004 US Jr World Team that competed in England and are members of the 2006 US Jr World Team that will compete in Mexico.

  • Huff was a member of  JR USAT last year

  • Ellison was a member of  Jr USAT in the compound bow division last year

Maggie Huff:  "Making Jr USAT again is a fantastic way to end out the summer I have had, but these things don't just happen on their own. I have worked really hard, but so have a lot of other people behind the scenes. I know for a fact that I wouldn't have achieved any of this without my family, my fantastic coach Allen Rasor, Nicole Rasor who shot countless amounts of arrows with me in preparation for this outdoor season, and everyone else at PSE that has encouraged me and helped make practice fun. I'm also looking forward to bringing more success to an already rockin' ASU Team. Go Devils!"

Brady Ellison:   "I'm proud to make another USAT team. I have worked really hard to get to this level. I especially want to thank my step dad, Mel Nichols for all his help this past year, and the rest of my family for all their support. Being a Resident Athlete at the OTC has been a blast and training under Coaches Lee & Skinner has been a great experience.  It's been a good start to my recurve career and I hope to have continued success."

Brady has also been recognized by the Olympic Training Center, Chula Vista, California as their athlete of the month.

Congratulation to these Arizonans.
