Stewart Bowman has been an Arizona Archery regular for years as the designer and manufacturer of the Accu-Riser compound bows, a skilled, experienced bow technician and most notability a perennial top AZ Duel in the Desert Team member and frequent Arizona State Championship and Arizona Cup contender.

Nationally, Bowman has several Canadian and USA National Championships in his quiver.

Stewart grew up in Canada and moved to Phoenix in 1986.

Right after the 2006 World Archery Festival, Las Vegas, Stewart completed the move from west Phoenix (Camelback and 63rd Avenue) to Northwest Arizona.

Bowman now owns and operates;

Desert Archery,

3235 N. Wells Street

Kingman, AZ 86409

Phone 928-681-4007, Fax 928-681-4014

He features the Bowman Bows Accu-Riser line of custom bows and stocks Mathews, Bowtech, Hoyt, and Darton as well as a full line of accessories.

The shop also has a 12 lane 18 meter range!

Stewart quotes:

  • “I love the area” said Bowman having settled in for a few months.

  • I have a Tuesday evening Vegas League operating now.

  • I would like to have a JOAD Program and I am slowly developing contacts here to get it going.

  • It’s a busy time.

  • Not having the time to compete at the Nationals Target Championship is just killing me.”
