Some great
volunteers faced strong winds at the Long Bow Golf Course on
April 14 to bring an archery experience to some of the nation's top
junior golfers. The golfers were there to participate in the Heather
Farr Classic Golf Tournament. For the fourth year in a row, AZ JOAD
Archery has provided a chance for the golfers to try out archery
following their rounds of golf.
The targets
were set at about 10 yards and the golfers used Genesis Bows.
Despite
strongly gusting winds they were able to hit the targets and some scored
pretty well. The volunteers did a great job of providing one on one
coaching for each of the golfers trying archery. The golfers who
participated enjoyed the event and a few had their own private
competition going on.
